NMSP News:SANTA FE 鈥?From Nov. 12 to Nov. 25, the New Mexico State Police Department聽 NMSP , in collaboration with Santa Fe Police Department and the Region III Task Force, conducted a proactive operation in Santa Fe to identify individuals victimizing the unhoused population stanley us through various criminal activities.Officers contacted 479 individuals聽and聽yielded the following results:25 felony arrests15 misdemeanor arrests13 arrests involving drugs19 arrests of habitual stanley website offenders.242 fentanyl pills seizedVarious amounts of methamphetamine, heroin and psilocybin聽 mushrooms were聽seized.An NMSP civilian victims advocate was present with NMSP officers to provide resources to unhoused persons. Thirty-four people opted to speak with an advocate, with only three refusing assistance.The New Mexico State Police is committed to understanding and tackling the root causes behind challenges faced by our unhoused population, which can lead to criminal activity. FBI News:An Albuquerque man wanted for a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery has been arrested by the Albuquerque Police Department.Jason Cruz Cordova, 30, was wanted on a federal arrest warrant stanley kubek for the Aug. 16, 2018, robbery of First Convenience Bank, 901 Unser Boulevard SE., Rio Rancho, and the Aug. 20, 2018, attempted robbery of Bank of the West, 780 Juan Tabo Boulevard NE., Albuquerque.Albuquerque Police arrested Cordova Thursday. FBI special agents took custody of Cordova shortly afterward. He is expected to have an initial appearance Friday in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque.
